Credentials

Dental accreditations and credentials, explained

What each acronym actually means, which tier matters, and how to verify it independently.

How to verify any credential

  1. Go to the issuing board or organization's official website.
  2. Find their public directory or member-verification page.
  3. Search by name and confirm both the credential and the tier.
  4. Cross-check against the state dental board's license verification.
