This site is published by an independent editorial team that specializes in long-form patient education. The publisher is not owned by, and is not a subsidiary of, any dental clinic, dental service organization, laboratory, implant or veneer manufacturer, or dental-tourism agency.
Editorial governance
- Editorial team — Selects topics, drafts and edits content, and is responsible for plain-language accuracy. Editors are prohibited from accepting benefits from parties covered on the site (see conflict of interest).
- Medical reviewer — A licensed prosthodontist reviews every clinical page for accuracy and safety before publication and re-reviews on the schedule described in the medical review policy.
- Editor-in-chief authority — Final publish/withhold decisions rest with the editorial lead. Reviewer sign-off is required for clinical content; commercial parties have no publish authority.
Affiliations we do not have
- We are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any specific dentist or clinic.
- We do not operate a patient-referral service and do not receive per-lead compensation.
- We do not co-brand with dental-tourism agencies, concierge services, or medical-tourism marketplaces.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct the page as soon as we're aware of the issue and mark the correction date at the bottom. Material clinical corrections are additionally noted in a visible callout on the affected page.
Complaints
Complaints about factual accuracy, tone, or perceived bias can be sent through the contact channel on the about page. Complaints about clinical claims are routed to the medical reviewer. Complaints about conflict of interest are reviewed by the editorial lead.
