Scope of review
Board members verify clinical accuracy across implant dentistry, periodontology, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and aesthetic dentistry. Reviewers check that survival rates, complication rates, contraindications, and procedural steps reflect current peer-reviewed evidence and major society guidelines (ADA, AAP, AAOMS, ITI, AO, EFP, AACD).
Credential verification
Before appointment, each member's active license is verified with their state or national dental board. Board certification (ABP, ABOP, ABOMS) is verified directly with the certifying body. The verification record and the public license number are listed on each member's profile page.
Disclosure framework
Reviewers complete a written disclosure of financial relationships with implant manufacturers, ceramic suppliers, clinics, and laboratories. A reviewer with a material conflict on a given topic is recused from reviewing that topic. Full disclosure statements are published alongside each named member as they are added.
Current roster
We are formalizing our Medical Review Board and verifying the credentials of prospective members. Named board members, headshots, license jurisdictions, and individual disclosure statements will be listed publicly here as each appointment is finalized. Until then, clinical review is performed by consulting clinicians under a confidential review agreement. The review itself is real and documented: every page lists the date of last clinical review.
How to apply
Licensed clinicians interested in joining the Medical Review Board can contact the editorial team. We require an active license, no material conflicts on the topics reviewed, willingness to be listed publicly with full disclosure, and a sample review.
